Chinese garden at Nurragingy Reserve was officially opened in August 2012 as a symbol of the economic partnership between Blacktown City and Liaocheng in China. There are elements from both the Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty in the garden.
The Chinese garden is only one little part of 63 hectare complex of parks, forests and nature reserves in Doonside.
